Just off of Hwy 41, near the small town of Fish Camp, Yosemite Trails is located two miles outside of Yosemite's south entrance. From this mountain ranch, my family has been raising cattle and guiding trail rides for three generations.

Every year, as soon as the snow melts, we round up the horses off winter pasture and drive them to the Pack Station. With the sweet smell of wild Azaleas pushed along by a cool mountain breeze, our one & two hour horseback rides wind through some of the best scenery the Sierras have to offer. If more time in the saddle is what you have in mind, join us for an exclusive trail ride into Yosemite's Mariposa Grove. What better way to get a glimpse into Yosemite's past than to visit these 2,000 year old redwood trees the way John Muir did, from the back of a good horse.

When evening rolls around and you’re hankering for some good grub, take a horse drawn wagon ride down to the old pack station for a cowboy cookout under the stars. This event, known as Wagons & Dogies, is an old fashion hot dog roast over an open camp fire with toasted marshmallows for dessert.

If you're planning to visit Yosemite during the winter months, we have a special treat waiting for you. Authentic horse drawn sleigh rides pulled by Belgian Draft Horses complete with jingle bells. This is truly unique experience for the whole family.

From all of us here at Yosemite Trails, we look forward to making your horseback holiday a memorable one.
