Silver Strike Meadow Trips
Are you looking to get away for the weekend but worrying about all the stress of logistics, navigating and cooking for your party? Then do we have a couple ideas for you. Our packer and stock will transport your gear, while our naturalist guide will accompany you on your hike and throughout your stay. Once in camp, you’ll enjoy our expertly prepared meals, stargaze by the campfire and hear tales of cowboys and mountain men who have traveled these woods before you. Make sure you bring field guides to test your knowledge of the stars, local flora and fauna, as well as local butterfly species. Kick back by the fire and take in the sounds of a trickling natural spring that produces clear, cool and delicious drinking water. This area is rich in history so make sure you take time to check out the remains of old cabins that were once home to miners in the late 1800’s. We take care of everything so you can travel at a comfortable hiking pace and maximize the number of stress free hours in your vacation. Make this an extended weekend getaway or stay for longer, it’s up to you.
Are these trips right for me? Silver Strike Meadow Trips require a minimal amount of hiking and backcountry experience. They're perfect for newcomers to the outdoors, those who aren’t up to hiking the rugged high country yet, and those who just want to relax.
