Chain Lakes: Elevation - 9000 ft
Riding time from trail head - 2.5 to 3 hours
Several camping spots, moderate to heavy use July & Aug.
Chain Lake is a series of three good size lakes ranging in elevation from 8900 ft up to 9300 ft. This is an extremely nice set of lakes with lots of shore line to explore.		   Givens Lake: Elevation - 8900 ft
Riding time from trail head - 3 to 3.5 hours.
Limited camping spots, low use July & Aug.
Givens is a nice secluded lake that sits by its self.
 
Johnson Lake: Elevation - 8300 ft
Riding time from trail head - 3.5 to 4 hours
Limited camping spots, low to moderate use July & Aug.
Johnson Lake sits on a flat open bench with great views looking twards the south fork of the Merced River. Crescent Lake is a very easy walk on flat stretch of trail.
   Royal Arch Lake: Elevation - 8700 ft
Riding time from trail head - 3.5 to 4 hours
Several camping spots, low to moderate use July & Aug.
Royal Arch is nestled up against a vary large rock outcropping. There are 2 other lakes in the area within easy walking distance, (Johnson & Crescent Lake)
